Pink Socks for Pink Aid in October!
2016 Girls supporting Pink!
It’s October which means we kick off our collective efforts in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month.
WSA has purchased and is providing pink socks to each of its Travel team players to wear for games in the month of October.
The wearing of pink socks will be WSA’s way to demonstrate our collective support of all those impacted by breast cancer in our community and well beyond.
In exchange for these socks, we are asking every family to make a small financial contribution to Pink Aid.
100% of funds collected by WSA will be sent to Pink Aid in support of local families managing through their breast cancer journeys right now.

Pink Aid’s mission is to provide compassionate support, critical resources and emergency financial assistance to underserved breast cancer patients and their families.
Their vision is to compassionately empower individuals throughout the entire breast cancer cycle: from outreach and screening in underserved communities; to wellness, recovery and financial assistance during treatment; to encouraging survivors to heal by helping and inspiring others. Pink Aid is a 501(c)3 based in Westport, CT that has supported more than 60,000 families in our area.
Funds they raise are used to support families’ essential household living expenses and wellness support during treatments and challenging times.
