WSA Junior Referee

Junior Referees support WSA 2nd grade intramural games.

  • WSA Junior Referees are in 6th - 8th grade/ages 12 - 13 and are interested in becoming a future State Certified Referee (scroll down for overview of Certified Referee program).

  • Earn $20 per game (one-hour games)

  • Junior referee pool capped at ~30 participants per season (first to sign on and complete training will receive priority)

  • No experience required, knowledge of soccer is helpful - one hour of training by WSA coaches is required

Certified Referees

Certified referees support our U9+ travel soccer games as lines people or center referees.

Please review this presentation for instructions on how to get certified.

  • Must be age 13 or older to become a certified referee

  • visit www.ctreferee.net for more information and to start process

  • 4-5 hours of online classes plus one in-person, on field session

  • Per game fees range from $40-$75, games predominantly Sunday afternoons, in Wilton
