High School Boys Teams (U16+) for Spring Season

WSA offers teams for high school age BOYS players in the spring seasons to complement the Wilton High School soccer program which runs in the fall season each year.

TRYOUTS FOR SPRING 2025 BOYS TEAM TO BE HELD IN JANUARY

  • Must register by January 15th

  • Location and time of tryout to be communicated after registration

Note: WSA does not offer spring season teams for High School girls because there are not sufficient teams in the area to form a league. WSA would support spring training groups of Wilton girls if there is interest.

  • Program Overview

    Players born 2009 and 2010 are eligible for Spring 2025 team

    Can be primary team for Wilton players, or a complementary team for those Wilton players on other teams; select few players from adjacent towns may be considered

    Professional coach for each team with high level experience

    Team roster must be at least 15 and can be up to 25 players

    Two in-town practices/week (90 mins)

    ~8-game league schedule in Spring season

    Games are likely to be on Sundays (50% in Wilton and 50% in nearby towns) and can be coordinated to avoid most conflicts

    Possible Winter/pre-season training

    Program cost will be between $250-500 per player depending on final number of players to cover base costs (coach fees, insurance cost, field fees) and content (Spring season league fees, possible Winter training, CT Cup, tourneys, etc)).

  • Seasonal Schedule

    Spring season is late March to mid-June

    Practice days and times are TBD

    Sunday league games are typically between 12-6PM each week

    Team may participate in the CT Cup (single elimination State tournament (games on Saturdays during season) - entry depends on player availability and team readiness

    Opportunity for tournament play subject to team availability and interest
