WSA to participate in Wilton’s Memorial Day Parade!
Please join WSA on Monday, May 27th for the Wilton Memorial Day Parade!
Wilton Soccer Association is proud to participate to honor and remember our heroes.
We are also proud to have a direct connection to lost, but never forgotten, hometown hero and distinguished WSA alumni, PFC Nick Madaras. Read Nick’s story HERE.
All WSA players, coaches and family members should assemble/meet at 9:15AM in the Executive Campus parking lot behind Starbucks. Please arrive early and park in the Stop n Shop lot. The roads through Town Center will be closed to cars promptly at 9:30 AM.
WSA players and supporters should wear WSA uniforms or fan gear from this season or prior seasons. All players and their family members are welcome!
When the parade begins, WSA volunteer coaches, team managers and parents of WSA players will escort their teams/players along the parade route from the Executive Campus lot through Wilton Center, up to the Congregational Church and then to Hillside Cemetery for a special ceremony. Players should exit the parade and meet up with family members at the Congregational Church.
Important note for Parents: WSA are NOT responsible for supervising your players for this event. All players should be with their own parent, or another that has directly agreed to assume responsibility.
Here is the Town’s official press release about the Parade. Thank you!
